Growing up, I moved around a lot...the only consistency in my life was family, and my mom's fully stocked art room. Everywhere we went, I was surrounded by art supplies. So I found solace in art.

 

Art made me feel connected to the world, similar to fantastical worlds of cartoons series like Adventure Time and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Each episode was a portal to adventure, offering an escape from my own constantly changing world. It made me feel like I wasn't so alone.

So through my own work, I hope to evoke a sense of wonder and belonging, inviting audiences to embark on a journey of whimsy so they might not feel as alone.
